Biography
Walid Ibrahim Moubayed is a professor of Civil Engineering who served as Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Balamand from 1994 to 2011, Dean of Admissions and Registration from 1996 to 2021, and Accreditation Officer from 2011 to 2021. He led the University of Balamand in Dubai during the 2018–2019 academic year and was a member of the Equivalence Committees and the Academic Technical Committee at the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education from 2009 to 2021.
Afterward, he moved to Doha, Qatar, where he has served as an Educational Advisor and Consultant since September 1, 2021. He joined Université Libano-Française (ULF) on August 1, 2025, as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Sciences.
He holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur in Civil Engineering from Saint Joseph University (Lebanon) and MS/PhD degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston (USA).
