The Faculty of Fine Arts

Message from the Dean

Welcome to the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Lebanese-French University - a place where ideas take shape, imagination becomes practice, and students grow into confident creative professionals.

The artist and educator Phyllida Barlow once observed, “It should not be underestimated what a rich resource an art school education can be.” That resource extends far beyond studios, techniques, and materials. It lies in the freedom to experiment, the confidence to question, and the opportunity to discover your own way of seeing the world.

The field you are entering is dynamic, challenging, and constantly evolving. It calls for artists and designers who are curious, open-minded, and willing to explore. Guided by experienced academics and creative professionals, our students will develop their individual voices while gaining the artistic, technical, and professional skills needed to transform ideas into meaningful work.

As members of a newly established faculty, students will also help shape its identity and culture. We invite you to become part of a community that values individuality, collaboration, cultural heritage, innovation, and freedom of expression.

Your journey will be demanding, exciting, and deeply rewarding. We look forward to seeing where your creativity takes you.
