Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering at the Lebanese-French University!
Here at our Faculty, we seek to provide you with the best engineering knowledge and
skills that are possible in this day and age. Throughout your journey with us, we will help
build your capacities and become a well-rounded problem-solver: an engineer.
With us you will get an education that is balanced between theory and practice thus
enabling you to make good and educated judgements, build things, work in teams,
communicate ideas, and above all, innovate! You will get an appreciation of the real-
world challenges and take these into consideration in your innovations.
Our professors are highly experienced in their fields and are very keen to impart their
know-how to you, in the classroom, in the lab, in the workshop or on site. Our facilities
are modern and welcoming, and we continue to improve them on a regularly.
Here at the Faculty of Engineering, we recognize that Engineers are practical people.
Accordingly, not all your learning will take place in the classroom. A considerable
proportion will be in the library, in the lab, in a design studio or in industry. We will make
sure that you become a good communicator, a good team worker, a life-long learner
and develop your professional and leadership skills. All these attributes are required to
be a successful engineer.

Mission
The Faculty of Engineering seeks to empower its students with high quality, modern and well-rounded education, and to constantly advance engineering knowledge through active and inclusive research and scholarship that is relevant to Lebanon and the Lebanese.
Departments and Programs
The Faculty of Engineering offers four programs that lead to the degree of Bachelor of
Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Those are five-
year programs that are fully recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher
Education and satisfy the requirements of the Lebanese Order of Engineers. They are
structured over 10 regular semesters and include professional industrial placements as
well as many practical hands-on components.
Laboratory Facilities
Our labs are equipped to reflect the state-of-the-art of our disciplines and to give our
students the opportunity to experience the practicality of the engineering profession for
real. In addition to their use in supporting classroom learning and validating theories,
they are available to be used in projects and investigating specific physical phenomena.
